Music festival in the winery we are proudly supporting!

World-class artists will once again grace the scenic vineyards of Janowice near Tarnów during the seventh edition of the Vitis Music Sfera Festival. From August 13 to 18, 2024, this extraordinary event will once again attract exceptional musicians and music enthusiasts from both Poland and abroad.

The festival takes place in the picturesque vineyard in Janowice, which has been hosting artists and art lovers since 2017. This year’s edition is packed with diverse musical events, including two jazz concerts and two classical music performances. Attendees will also experience the vibrant sounds of Balkan music and a special concert featuring young talent – students from music schools and conservatories from Poland.

“During the festival, every music lover will find something for themselves. The program is designed to showcase music in various shades, colors, and flavors over a few days. For example, we will hear vocal performances in operatic (Anna Zawisza), jazz (Ola Błachno), ethnic (Nina Kodorska), and poetic (Mikołaj Beker) styles,” says festival organizer Karolina Chlipała-Dobosz – a violinist, graduate of the Academy of Music in Katowice and Hanover, and President of the Foundation for Supporting Music and Wine Development named after Ignacy Jan Paderewski. “There will also be classical piano (Alesia Kizil, Ewelina Panocha) and jazz (Leszek Możdżer), violin (Voytek Proniewicz), and other instruments.”

Each year, this venue welcomes world-renowned artists, music lovers, and everyone who appreciates the beauty of music and nature. The steep slopes of the vineyard, descending towards the wild Dunajec River and the majestic peaks of the Pogórze mountains—which are often compared to Italian landscapes—add charm to every concert. The picturesque Małopolska vineyards create stunning landscapes that are among the region’s attractions to be discovered along the Małopolski Wine Trail.

Concerts will take place each evening, allowing residents from cities like Rzeszów and Kraków to travel comfortably to the venue. Attendees can look forward not only to the performances but also to breathtaking sunsets that accompany each show.

The organizers have taken care of every detail, providing shelter in case of unforeseen weather. Participants need not worry about parking or refreshments. The festival atmosphere is semi-formal, making it a welcoming environment for families with small children.
